AUDREY What are you talking about? Look
nothing! How long does it take to
glue on a fake beard and wig!
She grabs and tugs the beard. It doesn't budge. MILES OOCH! AUDREY (examining hairs in hand) Hmmnn. Good glue. Their reverie is disturbed by two men who enter the room claiming to be phone repair men. Miles immediately levels his gun and starts firing. They duck behind cover as the telephone men return their fire! Audrey, now tired of Miles' madness, knocks him unconscious and surrenders to the phone men who claim now to be members of the CIA.

Audrey is glad to be rid of Miles and they help the CIA men get him into a van outside. They watch the vehicle pull away. Irwin is suspicious of the very odd way the men presented themselves and he convinces a complaining Audrey to follow them in their car. Following the van they come to an even seedier part of town where Irwin observes the very suspicious building where the supposed CIA men unload the unconscious Miles. Under duress from Audrey, Irwin goes down to investigate and he is caught by a guard and paralyzed by an aerosol spray. Audrey suffers the same fate back at their car. They are collected, stiff as boards, into the building.

They awake to find themselves in a laboratory filled with blinking gadgets. Miles is awake and he greets them cynically. He informs them that they have neatly delivered him and his invention into the hands of invading aliens. As crazy as it sounds this is substantiated by a large man entering the room. His name is MR.ZERON. He seems to be sympathetic to the plight of the three.

ZERON I am Mr. Zeron. And you are? IRWIN Pleased to meet you Mr. Zeron.
I'm Irwin Kirkabee and this is my
wife Audrey.
ZERON A pleasure I'm sure. Madam? Audrey just stares. AUDREY Forgive us if we don't shake hands. IRWIN There seems to be a bit of a
colossal misunderstanding here you
see, my wife and I were on a little
trip to...
ZERON A little holiday? IRWIN Yes, rather, we got a little hung
up between flights, y'see...
ZERON Just one of those things. IRWIN Yes, (to Audrey) I knew he'd understand. (to Zeron) And then I remembered my old
friend Miles here.
